Who needs a unifying theme anyway?

I’ve voiced my opinion tons of times about what I consider to be somewhat pointless displays of support that do less for the cause than they do for the ego of the person espousing it.

I think that this Vindaloo against Violence idea however might be onto something. Maybe the Indian community does need to see that the broader community does support them and is aghast at recent violence — no matter what the motivation.

I’m a bit sketchy on the message of “I love you guys, especially your exotic spicy food”, but let’s not be too right-on about this.

I’m interested in what other people think.
