- Bernard: My RAGE is more directed at the fact that Apple products are generally functionally lacking, than that people buy them.
- Me: I guess what Apple have realised is that people are more than willing to trade tweakability and lots of functions if they get a reliable experience. I have no doubt there are better devices out there than the iPhone. Apple is good at working out what to leave out of a device that's designed for mass adoption.
- Bernard: what apple realised is that people will go "OOOOOOOH SHINY here's my money" and not realise they're being assf*cked into the worst vendor-lock-in, ever.
