Adderall blurs the line between therapy and enhancement, boosting the mental energy of people who haven’t been diagnosed with ADHD as well as sharpening the focus of those who do. Does that make it dangerous—or marvelous? Should biological enhancements be restricted to those who suffer from diagnosable diseases or disabilities, or available to all?

I take an antidepressant for my ADD that helps me significantly w/ shifting my focus (holding attention isn’t my prob, shifting it is). I’ve had drs offer me Adderall often and they are always surprised when I decline. Amazes me. I don’t _need_ it.

Biological enhancement should remain the domain of professional sports players and celebrities, like god intended.
